Comprehensive Genome Testing
A Society Utilizing Genome Information
With the advanced analytical platforms, individual genomes can now be analyzed within a realistic timeframe. This technology is increasingly being utilized for developing new drugs, researching disease onset, and diagnosing conditions involving genetic factors.
Our company leverages genomic analysis technology to conduct Genetics and Genome Dock as a collaborative research/clinical study involving multiple institutions, centered around the University of Tsukuba Hospital and the Tsukuba Preventive Medicine Research Center.
After blood sampling, nucleic acids are prepared and analyzed for disease-related regions across the entire genome. Results are interpreted by a Genomic Board composed of specialists, including physicians from relevant departments at the University of Tsukuba, and disclosed as a Whole Genome Genetic Analysis Report. Using the latest whole-genome analysis, we analyze and evaluate the characteristics of various genes possessed by the individual undergoing testing.
Risk information regarding diseases is reported only after thorough medical substantiation for matters where sufficient knowledge already exists.
This aims to help individuals avoid or mitigate future disease risks.
