iLAC’s mission is to realize a future society where everyone can live with peace of mind through the social implementation of innovative, cutting-edge genomic medicine.

Based on my experience at research institutions and companies both domestically and internationally, and building upon my current research and practice at the University of Tsukuba, I am advancing cutting-edge precision medicine in collaboration with universities, companies, and medical institutions.

iLAC is working to implement precision medicine in society. This approach integrates advanced genomic analysis technologies with omics data to propose optimized treatments and preventive measures based on each patient’s genetic information, environmental factors, lifestyle, and other individual characteristics.

This enables us to move beyond conventional, one-size-fits-all medical approaches, aiming to elucidate disease causes and pathologies at the molecular level and provide each patient with the most effective treatment with minimal side effects. Furthermore, utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as next-generation sequencers and spatial omics analysis, we conduct comprehensive genetic mutation analyses targeting diverse diseases, including cancer and rare diseases. Based on these results, we promote molecularly targeted therapies and personalized support.

We are committed to challenging ourselves daily to update medical conventions through the power of science and technology, thereby contributing to the health promotion and social welfare of all individuals who will lead the next generation.
